Investor's Perspective

RD Saúde is the largest pharmacy chain in Brazil, created in November 2011 through the merger of Raia and Drogasil. The company now operates more than 3,400 pharmacies across all Brazilian states.

It has sustained a strong pace of pharmacy openings while strengthening its digital channels. This strategy, supported by operational discipline and efficient capital allocation, has ensured EBITDA expansion, stronger margins, and resilience even in challenging macroeconomic environments. The result is a consistent trajectory of growth in pharmacies, revenue, and profitability since the Raia–Drogasil merger in 2011:

The sector is marked by resilience to economic cycles and by growing demand driven by the aging population:

fragmented market, with the leader (RD Saúde) holding 16% market share and less than 5% of all pharmacies in the country.

Productivity per point of sale is one of RD Saúde’s key advantages, enabling the company to operate with greater efficiency and profitability than the industry average.

This performance reinforces RD Saúde’s leadership position and highlights its value-creation potential.
